Abstract

This infographic analyzes the dystopian themes found in the video game titled StrayStray reflects real-world fears, including surveillance, autonomy, and ethical responsibilities in AI development. Including theorists like Nick Bostrom, Ollivier Dyens, and Donna Haraway, the game highlights the tension between oppressive AI enforcers, like the Sentinels, and the liberating roles of the characters like B-12 and the Companions. Stray shows AI as both a force of control and a potential ally, prompting players to reflect on how intelligent machines can one day influence our own lives. Through this polarity, the game becomes a speculative platform for exploring post-human identity, corporate domination, and the moral dilemmas that are present with AI. The stark contrast that Stray poses between mechanized surveillance and compassionate robots forces the viewers and players to reconsider our relationship with technology and what it means to be human in an AI-driven future. This Stray infographic offers powerful commentary on hopes and risks in AI evolution.
