Abstract

This infographic explores how the Spider-Verse films employ color as a narrative and emotional language. Drawing from theorists and studies, the analysis demonstrates how color guides audience perception, symbolizes character growth, and reinforces thematic arcs of responsibility and change. Through Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, the films visualize transformation. Miles’s shift from Prowler‑inspired tones to Spider‑Man’s palette marks his acceptance of identity and duty, while Gwen’s Earth‑65 “mood ring” world externalizes her emotional evolution. These chromatic transitions reveal how aesthetic design can embody internal conflict and resolution, connecting viewers to the characters’ psychological journeys. By synthesizing scholarly perspectives with cinematic examples, this infographic highlights color’s power to shape storytelling and emotional resonance within the Spider-Verse universe.
